The much awaited International Vastu Panorama-2004 witnessed its inauguration at Hotel Sayaji, Indore. A large number
of delegates were present from across the globe to participate
in this mega event that would be accompanied by technical sessions
and workshops. Chief Guest for the function was Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya
and presided over by Justice J.G. Chitre
(Mumbai). Australian based Feng-Shui expert Ms. Gahle Atherton
was present as special guest along with Dr. B.B. Puri (Chairman
IVS) and Col. T.P. Tyagi. Traditionally the inauguration was flagged
with mantra chanting (Swasti Vaachan) by Dr. M.K. Ojha and his
team and vande-mataram by Ms. Madhavi along with lighting of the
lamp.
Er. V.K. Agrawal hilighted some scientific facts
hidden in Vedic Vastu in his key note address. He emphasised that
construction of roads should be parallel to the magnetic axis
for better development. Prior to this Er. Jitesh Agrawal gave
the welcome address. Er. Pankaj Agrawal, (Chairman of the Institute
and Organizing Secretary of Vastu Panorama-2004) briefed the audience
about the aims of the conference and the significance of vastu
science. He told that vastu plays a very essential role in prosperity,
health and progress of mankind. He also wished success to the
participants and thanked the delegates for making the occasion
special.
Ms.Atherton further established the need and importance of vastu
as she stated it to be the brother of fang-shui. She also talked
about the researches going on vigorously around the globe to enhance
this ancient Indian science. Senior Justice Mr. Chitre cited the
need for vastu by quoting his experiences and the impact of vastu
on human life. He said that in his tenure maximum murders were
recorded during Chaturthi, Ashthami, Amavas and Poonam. It is
the responsibility of human only to live a better life.
Mr. Vijayvargiya urged that Indians must proudly
acclaim traditional sciences like vastu and work in this direction
should be done without commercial motives. He also quoted excerpts
describing the significance of the effect of environment on mankind,
and the need for vastu.
Divakant Dwivedi, Mukesh Gupta, Rajesh Jain and
others presented memento's to the guests. Dr. Abhay Gupta and
Mrs. Vijaya Bakshi conducted it. On this occasion the Chief Guest
also released a Conference magazine containing different articles
& research papers on Vastu & allied fields. Shri Divakant
Dwivedi designed the cover page of this magazine. Along with this
the technical exhibition namely Vastu Lab was Inaugurated by Mr.
Vijayvargiya. Dr. V.K. Naneria gave vote of thanks.
